Lib Dem Josie Ratcliffe joins West Norfolk Council leadership team

Josie Ratcliffe, Liberal Democrat councillor for East Downham Ward, has joined the Borough council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk in the new role of Cabinet member for Transport Strategy and Car Parking. The council is led by a coalition that includes the Liberal Democrats and the Independent Partnership.

Her professional experience includes a background in the road and rail haulage industries, after an early career as a software engineer, and more recently work across local government: these provide her with a wealth of experience and professional skills needed to understand all the facets of the new role and be maximally effective for constituents.

Josie said: “I'm looking forward to representing the council, and supporting our residents and businesses around car parking and transport matters in particular, while sharing Cabinet responsibilities for all aspects of the council's operations. I'm grateful to my Cabinet colleagues and council officers who have welcomed me into this new role.”
